Tournament Format: 7-8 rounds (8 if time permits) USCF Rated & Unrated G/5; d3

*Note that the start time is 7:00 pm for this event.

Entry fee:  $3 club member/$8 non-club member. Please bring exact amount.

Change will not be given for anything greater than $10.00.

Note: club membership is only $15/yr from Sept. 1 to Sept. 1

All entry fees returned as cash prizes, PLUS an additional $30.

Please bring chess clocks. Boards and sets provided.

Registration from 6:00-6:55 pm

First Round 7:00 pm sharp

Details: This will be a regular Swiss pairing tournament. HOWEVER, we’re allowing for participants to CHOOSE whether they want their games rated or not.  The default for all pairings is UNRATED.  However, pairings will be rated if both players choose to have their games rated.  The decision to RATE or NOT RATE your games must be made upon registration. USCF membership is required for anyone choosing rated games.

First round ½ point byes are available to anyone requesting it prior to 6:30 pm on the day of tournament.
